Finally

So today when Jen woke up she noticed this little grey thing moving around in the cage. She immediately ran into the room and started yelling "She had her baby, She had her baby!!!!!!!!!!!". She was super excited. We took a video of this little monster and right after we were done taking a video she started acting weird again. Then there were 2, yep 2 this is a little video of the first one out. just so you can see what they look like. oh and they are one of the only rodents whose babys have fur when they come out.

The Perfect Storm

Wednesday night on my way home from work I noticed a thunderstorm coming in. The weird part was that it wasn't raining and it didn't rain at all that night. When I came home we walked down to St. Paul Cathedral and watched it roll in. as I was sitting there I was brought back to a time when I was younger when the whole family sat in the drive way and watched a similar storm roll in over the river.

finally will be accepted by my siblings

Yes  I know, up until now everyone has probably been wondering what Jen and I have been up to down here in the cities. Well now that I have joined the rest of my siblings on this whole blogging thing all of you will be kept in the loop with what is going on in our lives. I look forward to posting pictures once we get Jens computer back, she has had horrible luck with it do yourself a favor and stay away from Gateway. At first she spilt a drink on it and messed up the motherboard and had to have it sent in for repairs (which took around 2 and a half weeks in the middle of a semester of online classes). And now we are waiting on a new power cord which was previously eaten by our male chinchilla Gus-Gus who was named after the mentally retarded mouse from Cinderella. I still have yet to figure out if he is really smart or just really dumb. Help me figure this out, he has the intelligence to break out of his steel cage which I have a difficult time opening sometimes, but yet is dumb enough to go around and chew on every LIVE power cord he can get his little paws on. Please post your opinions on this topic.

In other news our female chinchilla is very close to giving birth. She was showing signs of her going into labor today at around noon. I look forward to posting pictures of all of our little critters once we get the other computer back.
